Dr. Lisa Collis has been practicing at the Delton Veterinary Hospital since graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She lives in Edmonton with her husband Chad, cats Vincent and Douglas, and dog Eddy. She has volunteered on the continuing education committee of EASAV since 2007 and in 2010 serves as EASAV's President. Her special professional interests include dermatology, diabetes and chronic renal disease. |
Vice President: Dr. Gayle McDonald

Dr. McDonald was Born and raised in small town Saskatchewan, graduated in 1998 from WCVM. She moved to Alberta in 1999 and worked in mixed animal practice for a few years. Dr. McDonald has worked in small animal practices in Fort McMurray and Sherwood Park and in 2007, she bought the Glenora Cat Clinic. |
Treasurer: Dr. Jeffrey Person

Dr. Jeffrey Person practices at the Delton Veterinary Hospital in Edmonton. He has served on the board of EASAV in various capacities since 2004 and currently sits as Treasurer. Dr. Person is also active at a provincial level with the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association acting as a community representative and a member of the committee: Veterinary Medicine in the 21st Century. Dr. Person can be heard on the radio-waves once or twice a month hosting the call-in show Pet Talk, aired Sunday mornings at seven on AM 630CHED. He also authors the column "Ask A Veterinarian" in the weekly publication Country Asides. Jeffrey, partner Cathryn, son Michael, daughter Jillian, their two cats: Sam and Pould, and retriever: Trick, reside in Morinville. |
Continuing Education Director: Dr. Guillermo Trimino

Dr. Guillermo Trimino was born in Florence, Italy and raised in Bogota, Colombia. He is a graduate of the University of La Salle Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1988, obtained a Master of Veterinary Science at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 1993, and presently works at Delton Veterinary Hospital. Dr Trimino has many years of experience in mixed animal practice (small and large animals) and now concentrates mostly on dogs and cats. His main interests are general medicine and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Trimino is a continuing education coordinator for the Edmonton Association of Small Animal Veterinarians. He and his wife Gloria have an 8 year old Schnauzer cross dog named Susy. Dr. Trimino has played underwater hockey for several years and now enjoys riding motorcycle cruisers in the summer. |

Dr Colleen Pratt is a co-owner of the Calgary Trail Pet Hospital. She graduated from the Wester College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 1987. She spends most of her time managing the hospital. At home she enjoys her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, her Springer Spaniel Cross, and her kitty Sugar. She is married to Dr. Gerald Hauer, and they have three teenage children. |

Executive Assistant: Smokey Walters, RAHT

Smokey graduated from the Animal Health Technology Program in 1997 from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. She worked full-time in various clinics around Alberta, in both mixed and small animal practice for 11 years. Smokey was an appointed member on the AAAHT Board of Directors as the newsletter editor from 2007-2009 and is also the first AHT to serve a 3-year term on the ABVMA PIPS Committee (2008-2011). While working as the Executive Assistant for EASAV, she is currently enjoying the opportunity to stay home and raise her children. |
